October 18th “No Kings” Protest
History has its eyes on us. What will you say you did at this critical juncture for our country?

Every day the actions of the Trump administration serve up another outrage and yet more reasons for everyone who feels safe to do so to protest—loudly and publicly—our objections.
October 18th is set to be a day of national and global nonviolent protests. Join me, Do the Most Good, Indivisible MoCoWoMen, Moms Rising, and your neighbors by bringing your protest signs to Colesville Road from Hastings Drive to the 495 overpass from 10:00-11:30 am.

White Oak Power in the Park: September 27th
One of the things I am doing in addition to raising my voice in protest is continuing to promote effective ways to address the climate crisis.
To further that aim, I will be sponsoring another Power in the Park event on Saturday, September 27th from 10:00 am to noon in White Oak.
Wondering how to be more energy efficient? Lower your electric bill? Get clean energy tax credits before they disappear?
Power in the Park is a festive resource fair with information booths from a variety of state agencies and nonprofit groups. They are happy to answer your questions, sign you up for savings, paint your kids’ faces, and give you free food—all while making our homes and world greener and healthier!
