It’s time to make your voice heard. Do you have a plan for voting? Elections have consequences. You can make a difference.
When and Where to Vote Early voting begins tomorrow, Thursday, October 27th, and continues through November 3rd. You can vote from 7:00 am until 8:00 pm at 14 locations around the county (including here in District 20 at the Silver Spring Civic Center or the White Oak Community Recreation Center). Election Day is Tuesday, November 8th. That’s also the day mail-in ballots must be postmarked. Need more information? Go to the Maryland Board of Elections website.

How Best to Support Me and My Work?
⇨ Vote for Me - I hope I have earned your vote through my work in Annapolis and here in District 20 over the past four years. Voting for me is the best way to show the strength of my support. I am deeply grateful!
⇨ Knock on Doors - I have spent the last few months going door-to-door to help elect Democratic candidates all over the state: battleground legislative districts in Harford, St. Mary’s, Anne Arundel, Baltimore, and Howard Counties. Why? Many of my colleagues are in tight races this year. The more Democratic friends and allies I have in Annapolis, the more progress I can make on the issues I champion. I’ve also been canvassing for Wes Moore for Governor, Brooke Lierman for Comptroller, and Anthony Brown for Attorney General. We must turn out our voters in these battleground districts. Join me in this effort!
⇨ Tip Tight Elections in Other States - Silver Spring Progressive Action is canvassing in Pennsylvania for the next two weekends. They have options for day and weekend trips, and travel subsidies are available. They are also phonebanking to PA and other states to elect Democrats in tight races around the country. Sign up here to keep election-deniers from advancing their agenda around the country.
⇨ Volunteer at Polls - The Montgomery County Democratic Central Committee is coordinating the effort to have volunteers at all polling locations. If interested, email Jill Feasley at jill@lorigcharkoudian.com. It’s a great way to talk with voters about issues.
⇨ March in the Thanksgiving Parade - Once again, the District 20 team will march in the Montgomery County Thanksgiving Parade in downtown Silver Spring. Sign up here to join the fun on Saturday, November 19th. We hope to have lots of reasons to be thankful this November!
Together, we can build a more Just and Inclusive Maryland. It starts by voting for it.
Onward,
Lorig Charkoudian
